There the safari was in a desert. For first time - it was very tremendous. Good drivers on five jeeps "Land Rover" were driving on a mountain tape road, adding adrenaline in blood on the next turn. A stop in a mountain small village has allowed "taking a breath": owners of a tavern have treated us with a fresh juice from ripe sweet oranges.
We had impressions only from a trip on a streamer. So there is no sense to go for safari on Cyprus for second time. An interesting stop - a well known monastery on Cyprus - Kikkos in which one of three icons of the Divine Mother is stored, was written by Saint Luca. The riches of the Kikkos monastery amazes, surprises also monastic cells, located near to such a treasure, constantly visited by tourists.
The special attention is deserved to a museum of history of a monastery with an invaluable collection of antiques and works of art. Special illumination and the Byzantian music create an atmosphere of a temple of the last historical periods. It worth to visit it!
